Last night, I had the chance to attend the Regretting You premiere at the iconic Paramount Pictures Studios lot—and I’m taking you with me!

After wrapping up a long day at the radio station, I made my way to Paramount where check-in was smooth and, thankfully, parking was available right inside the lot (a small but major win after a busy day).

Before the screening began, there was a beautiful reception set up around the famous water fountain in front of the big Paramount Pictures sign. Tables circled the fountain while serving stations surrounded the area, offering bites and drinks. The soundtrack for the night? A fun pop mix sprinkled with nostalgic hits that instantly set the mood.

To the right of the reception, the red carpet buzzed with photographers, media, and the film’s cast. This time, I wasn’t covering the event as press—I was invited as a guest to simply enjoy the experience.

Inside the theater, concessions awaited us, and I grabbed my go-to combo: popcorn, water, Reese’s cups, and gummy bears. I found my seat and struck up a fun conversation with a woman sitting next to me—one of those spontaneous moments I always love, connecting with new people at events like this.

The film itself was a heartfelt story about the evolving relationship between a mother and daughter—showing love, heartbreak, and the complex beauty of growing together and apart. Regretting You perfectly captured the messiness and magic of real life, making it deeply relatable.

If you’re into chick flicks or rom-coms with emotional depth, this is definitely one to cozy up with—whether it’s a solo movie night or a watch party with friends and family.

I also ran into a few familiar faces throughout the evening and had those quick catch-ups that make nights like these so special. Overall, it was a wonderful event filled with warmth, nostalgia, and heart.

Regretting You hits theaters on October 24th—don’t miss it!
